Hi,
I am Sumayya Sherief, and I am from Kerala, India. I hold a B.A. and M.A. in English Language and Literature, along with a B.Ed. I have also qualified KTET Category II and III, as well as the SET in English. In addition, I hold a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certification and have completed a course in AI for Teachers with a focus on advanced prompt mastery.
I began my career as an English educator at Rosedale EM Lower Primary School. Currently, I am working as a Subject Matter Expert in English at Trivium Education Services, where I have been contributing for the past two years. My role involves academic content development, proofreading, and ensuring learner-friendly instruction.
I have a strong interest in student-centered and activity-based teaching methods that make learning engaging and meaningful. I believe that learning English is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but about helping students find their voice and express their ideas with confidence.
