About

I am a Senior Grade Facilitator specializing in Mathematics, dedicated to empowering students to develop strong cognitive abilities, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning—building a solid academic foundation that supports lifelong learning and future success.

I help students in Grades 6–12 studying Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel, GCSE, IB MYP, CCSS, Singapore Mathematics, and other leading international curricula improve their mathematical understanding, strengthen problem-solving skills, and achieve academic excellence with confidence.

With 15+ years of teaching experience, including 10+ years in classroom education in international school, 4+ years of international online teaching, and 11,000+ hours of live instruction, I have supported 250+ students from 10+ countries through personalised, results-driven learning experiences. My background spans classroom teaching, academic leadership, curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, and online education.

My teaching philosophy is centred on making Mathematics simple, structured, engaging, and meaningful. Rather than encouraging memorisation, I help students develop deep conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and the confidence to apply mathematical ideas independently.

My approach focuses on:

• Strong conceptual understanding rather than rote learning

• Exam-focused preparation and strategic problem-solving

• Individualised instruction with measurable progress

• Building confidence, resilience, and independent thinking

My practice is informed by internationally recognised educational frameworks, including Teaching for Understanding (Harvard Project Zero), Costa & Kallick's Habits of Mind, and Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, enabling me to create learning experiences that develop both academic excellence and lifelong learning skills.

Beyond improving grades, I mentor students to develop discipline, consistency, curiosity, and a growth mindset. I believe Mathematics is not simply about finding the right answer—it is about learning how to think logically, solve problems confidently, and approach challenges with resilience.

Whether I am teaching in a classroom or online, my goal is to help every learner reach their full potential through personalised instruction, continuous feedback, and a supportive learning environment.
