About

I am writing to apply for the position of English Teacher at your esteemed institution. With 3 years of teaching experience in reputed CBSE schools, I have developed strong expertise in teaching English language and literature to middle and secondary classes while creating an engaging, student-centered learning environment.

Currently working as a TGT English Teacher, I have experience in lesson planning, classroom management, curriculum development, assessment design, and conducting interactive learning activities. I specialize in simplifying grammar concepts, improving students’ communication skills, and designing skill-based worksheets and activities aligned with Bloom’s Taxonomy and CBSE guidelines.

During my teaching career, I have successfully:

Improved students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative teaching methodologies.

Created engaging lesson plans, presentations, and assessment materials for grammar and literature topics.

Conducted interactive classroom activities to encourage participation and critical thinking.

Integrated digital teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams for effective online and blended learning.

Maintained positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support holistic student development.

I hold a Master’s degree in English, a Master’s degree in Education, and a B.Ed., which have strengthened my academic foundation and teaching competencies. My passion for education, strong communication skills, and dedication to student success make me confident in my ability to contribute positively to your institution.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience and skills align with your school’s requirements. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Priyanka Puri
